Technology professionals, enthusiasts and addicts are tooling up for BarCampMilwaukee4: a two-day meeting of minds starting Saturday where anyone can show up, learn and share. BarCamps are called “unconferences,” which means the agenda is pretty informal and flexible. Everyone attending is asked to run a session of some sort on a topic they know and feel strongly about.
“Our target audience (is) people passionate about technology in some way, but they don’t have to be genius-level programmers,” said Pete Prodoehl, one of the BarCampMilwaukee4 organizers. “If you’ve never used a computer or e-mail, you’ll be over your head, but we are targeting various levels and want people who want to share what they know.”
