Wisconsin man arrested for threat on Twitter post

A computer technician was arrested this week after allegedly stealing customer names and credit card numbers from a Sheboygan business and posting them on Twitter, the Sheboygan Police Department reported Wednesday.

The information was stolen from multi-restaurant delivery service I’m Hungry, which hired Michael P. Fumich, 27, to set up a computer network in May, said Charleen O’Brien, co-owner of I’m Hungry.
O’Brien said she had no idea the customer database had been compromised until Monday, when Lt. Scott Mittelstadt said Fumich posted a picture of a database page on Twitter.
In a post on Twitter — a social networking Web site — Fumich threatened to sell the database if the business didn’t give him a router he claimed belonged to him, Mittelstadt said. O’Brien said the router belongs to the business.
