It was especially poignant as I sat in my home office and watched Twouble With Twitters. This cartoon exposed the prevailing inanity of Twitter — where people tweet about relationships, finding a parking spot, mastering some new techno-gadget — before some outsider tells them all to Get A Life.
Twitter — in moderation and with purposeful content — can be a powerful brand-building exercise. But most fall back to the fail-safe, “Here’s my life, isn’t it cool…?” detritus.
