19 Jan PhysioGenix plans drug test spinoff
PhysioGenix Inc., which sells pre-clinical services to drug companies, said it plans to spin off a subsidiary that will attempt to create drugs out of compounds developed at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
The spinoff will make a separate company of Neuro Amp LLC, which has an exclusive option on six compounds developed in the laboratory of James Cook, a UWM chemist who specializes in disorders of the central nervous system.
