GE Healthcare to cut 150 union jobs in area

GE Healthcare Ltd. will cut about 150 unionized jobs in Milwaukee and Waukesha counties by March, the company said Friday.
The major Wisconsin manufacturing employer also will eliminate jobs in Wisconsin that extend beyond its union work force. In all of Wisconsin, where it employed 6,900 workers as of September, “the impact will be less than 10%,” company spokesman Brian McKaig said without further elaboration.
