Senator Feingold, Congressman Ryan to keynote at biotech conference

Madison, Wis. – The Wisconsin Biotechnology & Medical Device Association has announced that U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold and U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan will be the featured speakers in the WBMA’s annual conference’s keynote forum.
The forum, to be held during the meeting’s luncheon session, will focus on the upcoming election’s potential affect on the biotechnology and medical device industry.
Both men have outlined agendas to promote economic growth. Feingold recently unveiled his E4 (economy, employment, energy, and education) economic development initiative, and Rep. Ryan, the ranking member of the House Budget Committee, has campaigned on his Roadmap for America’s Future.
Both will deliver remarks at the forum, which begins at 12:30 p.m., before answering questions.
The conference, set for Wednesday, Oct. 22, will focus on enabling WBMA member companies to build strategic partnerships and alliances. It will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Country Springs Hotel and Conference Center, Waukesha.
