25 Sep Price dropped for “Ideas to Profits” Conference, set for October 1-2 in Appleton
As the U.S. economy continues on a downturn, businesses everywhere are feeling the effects. One way business leaders and entrepreneurs can find resources to increase profits and stay afloat is to attend the “Ideas to Profits” Conference Oct. 1-2 at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton. “Ideas to Profits” is sponsored by the Wisconsin Innovation Service Center.
In response to these challenging economic times, registration for the two-day conference has been reduced to $99 from the previously advertised $250.
“After attending a national Small Business Development Center (SBDC) conference in Chicago and speaking with SBDC directors from across the country, it reinforced that businesses are hurting,” Wisconsin Innovation Service Center Director Ronald “Bud” Gayhart said. “Our “Ideas to Profits” conference is positioned to be the perfect resource to business owners.
“Business leaders and entrepreneurs will take away tools and tap expert resources to increase their profits, especially in an economic downturn like this one. Recognizing these challenging economic times, we are reducing the registration fee to a mere $99 for this power-packed conference.”
More than 25 workshops include such topics as assessing the market for new products, creating competitive advantages with the right intellectual property protection, designing and testing affordable prototypes, financing a start-up, promoting a new product, search engine optimization, and targeting potential business partners.
Again this year, the conference features a special track for manufacturers addressing Lean, tapping corporate power to bring new products to market, 15 surefire ways to identify new prospects, taking business to minority markets, the benefits of contract engineering and rapid prototyping, plus finding innovation funding.
Keynote speaker Al Lautenslager kicks off the conference with Guerrilla Marketing in 30 Days’ – marketing on a shoestring.
