19 Aug Tushaus Computer Services enters Madison market
Wauwatosa, Wis. – Tushaus Computer Services, a Wisconsin-based provider of computer services and products, has acquired Bedrock Managed Services, a Madison information technology services company.
Tushaus will hire 14 of Bedrock’s employees and establish a Madison office at Bedrock’s Royal Avenue location. Bedrock, founded in 2004, reported having 50 employees in the 2007 Dane County Directory of High-Tech Companies, but Tushaus spokesman Marc Blazich said all but one or two of Bedrock’s existing staff would be retained.
Mark Bakken, founder and CEO of Bedrock, will direct Tushaus’ growth in Greater Madison in a business development role.
“Bedrock has a loyal employee and customer base in the Madison area, and we are excited about entering the Madison market to build off of Bedrock’s success,” Gregg Tushaus, founder and CEO of Tushaus, said in a release.
Tushaus, founded in 1993, employs more than 130 people in four Wisconsin locations, including its headquarters in suburban Milwaukee. The company, which reports annual revenues in excess of $28 million, also has offices in Oshkosh and Green Bay.
