David Harder named Medical College's associate dean of research

Milwaukee, Wis. – David Harder, a professor in cardiovascular research and director of the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Cardiovascular Center, has been promoted to the newly created position of associate dean for research.
Harder will oversee mentorship and faculty development programs that are designed to increase the productivity of laboratory-based faculty research. He will join Dr. David Gutterman, senior associate dean for research and a Northwestern Mutual professor in cardiology.
Harder will continue to serve as interim director of the Cardiovascular Center until a successor is found.
