12 Apr Gentel launches cancer-fighting biomarker kit
Madison, Wis. – The Madison-based Gentel Biosciences, has launched an array kit that offers a new method of profiling the patterns of structures that play a role in various cancers.
Gentel Biosciences, a protein microarray life sciences company, is collaborating with Dr. Brian Haab of the Van Andel Research Institute to introduce the product, which it calls the product the APiX GlycoBiomarker Array Kit.
The new analytics tool, which is based on patent-pending technology licensed from the Van Andel Research Institute, provides a means of profiling the patterns of glycans on serum glycoproteins across various disease states. It will be marketed to oncology researchers around the world.
