03 Apr RedPrairie to partner with software firm
Waukesha, Wis. – With the promise of offering more robust map rendering capabilities to its customers, RedPrairie Corp. has announced a partnership with Telogis, a provider of location-based software and services.
RedPrairie, a developer of supply chain management software, said it will integrate Telogis’ enterprise GeoBase software into its transportation and fleet applications. The purpose of the embedded solution will be to provide RedPrairie’s global customers with more efficient routing and transportation management capabilities.
These capabilities will streamline driving routes and decrease time and gas-wasting practices such as left-hand turns and traffic-clogged routes. The 2008 release of RedPrairie transportation management and fleet management software will include the option of having the Telogis software built in to the RedPrairie solutions.
