31 Mar State provides $250,000 loan to Inviragen
Madison, Wis. – Inviragen, a Mount Horeb company that develops vaccines for emerging infectious diseases, will receive a $250,000 Technology Venture Fund loan from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce.
Inviragen, founded in 2003, will use the loan to lease a 4,000-square-foot laboratory and office space in Madison. This lab will be used for preclinical testing, research to measuring immune responses, and for research on vaccine administration and delivery. The total project investment is $2.8 million, and the project will create up to 10 new research positions, according to Commerce.
