RedPrairie plans to stay put, new CEO says

Brookfield, Wis. — RedPrairie Corp.’s new CEO, Mike Mayoras, has no plans to move the company out of the state, unlike his predecessor, according to an interview with the Small Business Times. Mayoras said Monday that the company wants to be part of the local community.
RedPrairie makes supply-chain software. The company is located in Brookfield, where it plans to remain until at least 2010, when its lease is up, rather than moving either out of state or to downtown Milwaukee.
Former CEO John Jazwiec complained about Wisconsin’s taxes and business climate, and he discussed moving the company elsewhere before resigning last October amid personal controversy and a dispute with Milwaukee police and the mayor’s office.
