09 Feb GE Healthcare IT gets $4.4 million vote of confidence
Waukesha, Wis. – ProHEALTH Care Associates, one of New York’s largest multi-specialty healthcare organizations, has selected the GE Healthcare Centricity electronic medical record.
ProHEALTH Care Associates, which serves more than 750,000 patients annually, will invest $4.4 million in the Centricity EMR and other IT systems with the intention of streamlining its practice and patient-care management functions.
Additional systems, which enable ProHEALTH to consolidate technology under one portfolio of GE solutions, will handle the organization’s billing and electronic data exchange systems.
GE Healthcare is a $17 billion unit of General Electric Co.
