10 Oct CDW sales up for quarter after Berbee acquisition
CDW Corporation announced sales of $2.1 billion in the third quarter of 2007, compared to $1.7 billion in the same quarter in 2006. The 2007 numbers include Berbee Information Networks Corporation, headquartered in Madison, which CDW acquired late last year.
Berbee was formerly a private firm. Now a CDW subsidiary company, it provides enterprise information technology services and is a growth opportunity for CDW in the enterprise market. Around the time of the acquisition, CDW and Berbee announced a goal of increasing Berbee’s revenue, now over $425 million, to $1 billion.
