Foley & Lardner honored by CIO magazine

Milwaukee, Wis. – New technologies developed for the purpose of supporting client service programs has earned the law firm Foley & Lardner a 2007 CIO 100 Award from CIO magazine.
The award marks the sixth time in the past seven years that the firm, which has offices in Milwaukee and Madison, has been recognized by the magazine.
The CIO 100 celebrates the top organizations worldwide that have used information technology in innovative ways to deliver business value – whether it’s by creating competitive advantage, optimizing business processes, enabling growth, or improving customer relationships.
Foley earned the CIO 100 award because of new technologies the firm developed to support its client service program, which is focused on developing IT tools and processes to increase the firm’s ability to bring more value to its clients. By drawing on experience in diverse industries and geographical areas, the initiative has identified and developed best practices for its attorney and professional staff client-service teams.
It also has invested in client interactive technology tools like ClientSuite, an extranet that allows clients to track and manage legal matters and acts as a repository for case files and other information.
