30 Jul Sonic Foundry losses and revenue up in Q3
Madison, Wis. – Sonic Foundry, a Madison-based rich communications firm, reported a net loss of $1.59 million, or 4 cents per diluted share, in the third quarter of fiscal 2007 on revenues of $4.7 million.
The net loss was up from the two cents per share reported in Q3 of 2006, while revenues were up 31 percent over the same quarter of last year.
The company, best known for its webcasting product called MediaSite, has been diversifying its revenue streams with Software as a Service, an advanced search product, and web-hosting services.
