06 Feb Merge Healthcare hires new VP of finance
West Allis, Wis. – In the wake of financial improprieties that led to the resignations of several top executives, Merge Healthcare has added another new face to its financial team. And once again, it has gone marching through Georgia.
Merge announced the hiring of Greg Wilson, currently the chief financial officer with Concurrent Computer Corp. of Atlanta, as its new vice president of finance.
Wilson’s hiring comes one month after the medical imaging software company hired Steven Norton as its chief financial officer. Norton is the former CFO of Manhattan Associates, Inc. of Atlanta and the former CFO of Concurrent Computer.
At Merge Healthcare, Norton succeeded Scott Veech, one of several executives who resigned last year after the company acknowledged that its financial statements were unreliable over a three-year period. The company had faced delisting on the NASDAQ Stock Market.
