Companies partner to produce geographic info application

Appleton, Wis.MPower Technologies, a local software and consulting firm, has teamed up with Michigan-based PlanSight LLC to make a new geographic information systems application, the companies said on Wednesday.
The application, CivX Integrator, allows organizations to create and distribute land records data through a local network or the Internet.
“We understand the challenges faced by organizations trying to maintain and distribute data from several different, separate databases,” said Scott Hameister, director of product development at MPower, in a press release. “CivX Integrator empowers users and allows them to search and analyze tax roll, tract indexes, grantor/grantee information, permit, and other data, all from one location.”
The companies plan to introduce their application at the Wisconsin Land Information Association conference March 1 to 3. Their customers include public utilities; municipal, county, and federal governments; and real estate developers.
