Broadjam partners with Dance Dance Revolution creator

Madison, Wis.Broadjam, a web site featuring independent music, said it has struck a deal to find music for Konami‘s popular game Dance Dance Revolution.
Artists are competing to provide original music for inclusion into the next Dance Dance Revolution video game. Using Broadjam’s song contest mechanism, artists upload their music onto the site for evaluation. A peer review process ranks the field for presentation to Konami’s staff.
Broadjam’s search allows visitors to find songs based on tempo, genre, mood, lyrics, subject matter, and geography.
Founded in 1999, the Madison company weathered the dot-com bust, coming through hard times and difficulty finding funding in a biotech-centric state. Read previous WTN coverage:
