Milwaukee, Wis. — Johnson Controls, well-known for automotive interiors and batteries, is buying a minority stake in a Florida integration company to boost its profile in another field: health care.
Emergin, in Boca Raton, makes a connectivity suite for health-care organizations. Its products will help Johnson Controls improve the efficiency of its multiple health-care offerings, including wireless systems.
