Visonex plans to expand with state grants, loan

Green Bay, Wis.Visonex will receive $109,000 in loans and grants from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce, the governor’s office said. The company provides web-based disease management software for clinics.
Visonex said in a release that it plans to hire nine people as part of its current growth push, and that it has 10 employees now.
The money includes:
• $100,000 loan from the Technology Venture Fund program, which provides low-interest loans to Wisconsin high-tech companies with fewer than 100 employees.
• $6,000 from the Business Employees Skills Training program
• $3,000 from the Technology Assistance Grant program.
