30 Jan UW-Madison MBA ranks 51st in U.S., from no ranking last year
The University of Wisconsin-Madison MBA program was ranked 51st in the nation, 80th in the world, and 19th among U.S. public university programs by the London Financial Times this week. It didn’t make the list in 2005.
These rankings are based on alumni careers and salary, diversity, and research capabilities. The Financial Times compiled data provided by the schools and a survey of students enrolled between 2000 and 2002.
UW-Madison’s program has changed substantially since then, however, trending toward more specialized MBA programs to launch students into specific career paths. According to UW figures, career placement is up to 92 percent for the class of 2005, up from 74 percent for 2002.
