Fiserv Inc. of Brookfield, Wis., said its Personix business in Boston would supply output services to Putnam Investments through an agreement that will bring Personix a significant distribution center in the Northeast. The former Putnam Distribution Center provides output services, including computer print and automated mailing, fulfillment and offset printing. The business will become the cornerstone for a new Personix Boston operation, strengthening Personix’s distribution footprint and reinforcing its leadership position in the investment services marketplace. The staff of the Putnam Distribution Center will become Fiserv employees.
Fiserv Imagesoft, a unit of Brookfield, Wis.-based Fiserv, Inc., said the Financial Services Technology Consortium (FSTC) will use its ExchangeGuard Image Quality and Usability Assessment (IQA/U) software to detect image defects on the millions of check images it will test during Phase II of its Image Quality and Usability Assurance Initiative. The objective of the phase of the FSTC study is to develop a minimum standard for acceptable check image quality for the U.S. financial services industry.
