Nair joins Alfalight; Prill coming to Journal Sentinel interactive media

Rajesh Nair has joined Madison, Wis.-based Alfalight as vice president of operations. Nair will lead Alfalight’s production and engineering teams. He has nearly 20 years of experience in high-volume, high-quality semiconductor manufacturing. Prior to joining Alfalight, he was executive director of wafer fabrication at Maxim Integrated Products and earlier was director of integrated-circuit technology development at ON Semiconductor. Nair started his semiconductor career at Intel and then spent 13 years with Motorola Semiconductors (now Freescale). Nair holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from National Technological University, a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Syracuse University, and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
Sharon Prill has been named vice president of interactive media and marketing for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Prill currently serves as Interactive Media Director at The News Tribune in Tacoma, Wash. Prill is the second Internet executive to recently join a Journal Communications company. In July, Scott Rodgers was named the new Web marketing manager at Journal Broadcast Group.
