27 Sep KUKA Robotics set to unveil Appleton training center
Appleton, Wis. — KUKA Robotics Corp. on Oct. 21 will officially open its Fox Valley Technical College facility in Appleton, Wis., followed by a public open house event Saturday, Oct. 22. This will be the company’s second training center in the United States with the other being located at KUKA Robotics US headquarters in Clinton Township, Mich.
The 10,000-square-foot training center will utilize KUKA robots and software to teach 27 different programming, application and maintenance classes to KUKA Robotics’ customers from across the U.S. Courses will be offered in robot programming, servicing, and cell design.
KUKA Robotics Corp., with its parent company KUKA Roboter GmbH, Augsburg, Germany, is a global manufacturer of industrial robots, with an annual production volume approaching 10,000 units, and an installed base of over 60,000 units.
