31 Aug UW-Platteville linked to UC-Irvine project management program
Platteville, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville will be one of several universities involved in a new online certificate program offered by the University of California-Irvine, the university’s extension announced on Wednesday.
The Project Management Certificate Program will offer professionals access to online career training and education programs necessary for advancement in the workplace. The UC Irvine Extension’s program was designed in response to many industries’ increasing need for professionals with project management skills, and will educate professionals about the tools and techniques involved in managing projects large and small.
Graduates of the program will sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification program, and will be able to transfer credits of the program toward master’s degrees at business-focused universities such as the UW-Platteville.
