18 May Appleton engineering firm gets $250,000 in tax credits to build facility
Appleton, Wis. — The state will give $250,000 in tax credits to C3 Corporation, an engineering and IT firm, to help it build an 18,000-square-foot facility in Appleton’s Northeast Business Park.
According to Governor Jim Doyle’s office, the $2.4 million project will create 28 jobs in the area. The credits are part of Wisconsin’s Technology Zone Program, which has set aside $5 million in tax credits for each of eight zones of the state.
Credits are available to technology firms that are locating or expanding in one of the technology zones, which collectively include 54 of the state’s 72 counties.
