Biotech association taps marketing firm for members
The Wisconsin Biotechnology and Medical Device Association has signed an agreement with Waukesha-based Avicom Marketing Communications to provide services to its members. Avicom will become an agency of record for the state trade association and will hold workshops on branding and other marketing issues in Milwaukee and Madison. The organizations have also launched a Web site called Biocom advertising Avicom’s services to WBMDA members.
Fitchburg Technology Campus hires project manager
The Fitchburg Technology Campus, a mixed-use development a few minutes from Madison, has hired Chris Armstrong as its project manager. Armstrong, a University of Wisconsin-Madison alum with business and engineering master’s degrees, has recently worked for Grant Thornton‘s corporate finance business. The campus is intended to draw high-tech businesses as well as residential, retail and park development.
RedPrairie gains supply-chain client in Texas
RedPrairie, a Waukesha-based maker of supply-chain products, has sold its labor-management software to The Container Store in Texas. The store has approximately 230 employees and will use the software to manage their productivity.
