08 Sep Orion Energy turns the lights up and energy usage down
Plymouth, WI—Orion Energy Systems announced on Tuesday that they have continued their trend of offering energy-efficient lighting with the introduction of their newest model in the Illuminator Series of commercial lighting products.
The new lights which offer 50 percent more light at half the energy usage are designed as a four-lamp fixture, able to reach heights between 14 and 100 feet. The products suggested use is for large commercial and industrial facilities, such as warehouses, distribution centers, and gymnasiums. Utilizing patented reflector logic and electronic ballasts, the Illuminators utilize a full 360 degrees of light and have an expected life-span of 20 years, according to the company.
Past versions of Illuminators have been implemented in many of the largest manufacturing centers throughout America, including Rockwell Automation, Toro, John Deere, and Kohl’s Department Stores.
“The business community has been slow to employ energy efficiencies because the traditional return on investment or the quality of the energy efficiency solution has been so poor,” said Steve Heins, director of marketing for Orion Energy Systems. “Orion’s lighting solutions highlight the fact that energy efficient deliverables can be used as a competitive edge in U.S. manufacturing.”
Orion Energy Systems has been in business since 1996, as a designer and manufacturer of application-specific lighting systems for use in industrial, retail, commercial, and institutional environments.
