MADISON – For small businesses, sometimes getting the company name out is a primary concern and Business Filings Incorporated is working to help these fledglings utilize the Internet for marketing.
Through a partnership with e-mail marketing company Constant Contact, Business Filings will now provide Constant Contact‘s Do-It-Yourself Email Marketing tools to new customers. Constant Contact’s clientele will also have access to online Business Filings’ incorporation services in any state.
“Our customers will now have the option to sign up with Constant Contact for e-mail marketing. This is really an opportunity to help expand business or grow business,” said Karen Nathan, Business Filings’ director of business development.
Constant Contact’s e-mail marketing tools are designed to make create and send professional HTML messages, newsletters and promotions, making communicating with customers and prospects easier.
“I think startups are always trying to figure out how to grow. With the prevalence of the Internet and e-mail being so primary a vehicle, it’s a good opportunity to at least give a try to grow their e-mail market,” Nathan added.
As a part of the agreement, Business Filings has the opportunity to pedal its wares to Constant Contact’s customers. Madison-based Business Filings specializes in corporation, limited liability company and nonprofit formation services.
“[The partnership is] a way for Business Filings to expand our business as well. To be able to market to Constant Contact’s user base as well,” Nathan said. “It’s an opportunity for us to get Constant Contact’s customers to incorporate. It will be a mutually beneficial partnership for both companies, as well as customer bases.”
Constant Contact is a Massachusetts-based Web-based email marketing business.
