MOVEit file-transfer software helps guarantee file transfer

MADISON – Standard Networks announced Tuesday its MOVEit family of secure file-transfer software products now has a unique set of capabilities to help guarantee server file delivery. The new features include transfer persistence, file non-repudiation and e-mail confirmation.
MOVEit DMZ servers and MOVEit clients now provide transfer persistence by retrying and resuming transfers until a file is successfully delivered. Files that fail at the beginning or end of a transfer can be retired automatically, a feature designed to assist when a server is down, a file is unavailable or a file fails its integrity check. Interrupted transfers resume automatically by resending the untransferred portion of the file; a useful feature when transmitting large files, using unreliable network connections or working with undependable systems.
MOVEit servers and clients also provide end-to-end file non-repudiation, such as the ability to identify a file’s sender and recipient. MOVEit products also provide non-repudiation with built-in cryptographic file integrity testing, user authentication, encrypted transfer and storage and a centralized audit trail.
In addition, MOVEit servers automatically send e-mail messages when files are uploaded or downloaded. This includes notices to senders confirming a successful upload, alerts to recipients that files have arrived for them and confirmations to senders when their files have been downloaded by intended recipients. These capabilities help guarantee successful file delivery and can also serve to speed up file retrieval and processing.
MOVEit products securely transfer and store confidential financial, medical and consumer data. Standard Networks is a Madison-based company specializing in creating secure, mission-critical data communication products.
