Business Filings releases software to help small businesses

MADISON – Business Filings Inc., a provider of services that help small businesses incorporate, has announced its release of a web-based application that businesses can use to manage annual state requirements.
BizComply sends e-mails to business owners reminding them of due dates for annual report, tax and other filings, as well as various meeting deadlines.
“Complying with state requirements and ongoing formalities is often at the bottom of a long list of priorities for small business owners who are busy handling other demands,” stated Mark Schiff, general manager of Business Filings. “Failing to undertake these steps, however, can jeopardize the status of the company and lead to consequences as serious as the loss of limited liability protection.”
Business Filings researches each state’s requirements for corporations and LLCs. BizComply, in addition to giving business owners notifications of upcoming deadlines, provides forms and stores company information. It also allows a single business to keep track of requirements across multiple states.
Business Filings is a Madison-based company, founded in 1996, with satellite offices around the country. Customers of Business Filings’ registered agent service get free access to BizComply. Others can purchase it for $50 per year.
