02 Feb Zero Zone Adds Sales and Marketing Automation Tools
North Prairie, Wis – Zero Zone, Inc., of North Prairie, Wisconsin, has signed a contract with IFS to implement IFS/Sales & Marketing software. The new software is fully integrated with the rest of the IFS Application enterprise software suite, including IFS’ supply chain management and financial applications, which the company implemented in 2002. Zero Zone manufactures refrigerated and freezer display cases used primarily by grocery, convenience, and drug store chains for retail merchandising.
“IFS/Sales & Marketing is a powerful system as a standalone product, but the fact that it integrates seamlessly with our existing IFS system made the decision simple,” said Lance Van Der Ploeg, Sales Manager for Zero Zone. “The integration will reduce our training and setup times and will give us expanded functionality over a secondary software package.”
“By replacing multiple databases with a common database of customers, we will eliminate duplicate effort. Our inside and outside sales personnel will save a significant amount of time by being able see a snapshot of customer activity without having to rely on traditional methods of communication such as e-mail, memos, and customer reports. Customer satisfaction will increase because sales and customer service personnel will be able to see the ‘big picture’ of all customer-related activity and will have instant access to all activities and documents related to the customer. Finally, outside personnel will save time because they will no longer need to maintain individual customer records and files and manually track quotations and orders.”
Industrial manufacturing is one of IFS’ targeted vertical markets. IFS has a broad customer base in the industry, focusing on medium- to large-size manufacturers that need support for complex order-driven and mixed-mode manufacturing across the extended enterprise. IFS develops and supplies component-based business applications for medium and large enterprises in 45 countries and has more than 350,000 users worldwide. The company is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange (XSSE: IFS). .
