Norlight’s New Wisconsin Data Center

Brookfield, WI. – Norlight Telecommunications, a Wisconsin-based provider of integrated data solutions for businesses has opened of a new data center in their recently built Wisconsin headquarters. The 4200 square-foot Data Center is part of a new 13,000-square-foot technology facility that includes a network management center (NMC) and data center located in the company’s new headquarters. The data center is also used for monitoring of network services related to Norlight’s products and services. Additionally they are offering collocation services as well as additional services that allow business customers to outsource many of their critical network security and business continuance needs.
The new data center provides customers with a secure, environmentally controlled space in which to collocate their data servers and related networking equipment. The center is outfitted so that customers’ equipment is protected from disruptions that could impair their operations.
The open work environment of the new NMC streamlines the link between Norlight’s people and systems, fostering improved communication, collaboration and problem resolution. All customer support team members are located in the new facility to enhance customer service and expedite troubleshooting. A 37 x 13 foot display wall allows technicians, engineers, customer support and installation personnel simultaneous access to critical customer information.
In addition, customers can add additional services, such as managed security, enhanced monitoring services and business continuance, to their data center solutions. These critical services eliminate the need for customers to dedicate capital expenditures and in-house expertise to these functions, freeing up time to concentrate on their core business.
