Physician practice embraces new tools to improve the quality of patient care
MADISON, WI- The University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation has chosen to standardize on a business intelligence tool, Crystal Enterprise 9 to help physicians track information to improve the quality of patient care. Crystal Decisions’ solutions provide physicians with reporting and analysis capabilities alongside of a scalable back-end infrastructure for security, processing, delivery, and repository management.
“We have been searching for quite some time to find a solution that provides our physicians with a high-level overview of the entire organization,” said Michael Rosencrance, Vice President of Information Services at the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation. “By implementing the infrastructure of Crystal Enterprise 9, we are embracing technology to provide our physicians important feedback on their practice.”
Initially, over 300 physicians will use the Crystal Decisions’ solution with plans to scale to more than 900 by Fall 2003. The implementation of Crystal Enterprise 9 will represent the beginning of a whole new level of information availability within the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation.
