Bob Tedeschi is is a 1990 graduate of the Columbia Journalism School, Bob Tedeschi spent his first post-graduate months in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, reporting about the social and political changes wrought by communism’s collapse. He then spent two years writing about business and telecommunications for The Connecticut Post, during which time he won two feature-writing awards from the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists. He taught journalism,writing and literature at the college level for five years while working as a freelance journalist, and returned to full-time journalism in 1997. In 1998 he began covering e-commerce for The New York Times.
