MGE Sponsors New Business Center for Entrepreneurs

The center will house organizations such as the Small Business Development Center, the Madison Development Corp. and the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corp. in Milwaukee and will also provide on-site assistance for T.E.C. Incubator Center tenants and other area businesses.
T.E.C. Center, Inc., is a nonprofit corporation providing management for the T.E.C. Incubator Center. The T.E.C. Incubator Center is a unique partnership between MATC and McAllen Properties, a commercial real estate leasing and development company in Madison. T.E.C. Center provides incubator space for new and emerging technology-focused businesses, firms engaged in government contracting and subcontracting, and technical support firms that deliver specialized services to the growing technology industry. T.E.C. stands for Technology, Education and Commerce.
MGE is a utility that generates and distributes electricity to nearly 130,000 customers in Dane County. It purchases and distributes natural gas to more than 126,000 customers in seven south-central and western Wisconsin counties. MGE has served the Madison area since 1896.
