Quad Graphics forms business unit for software tools

Sussex, Wis. — Quad Graphics, a printer of magazines, catalogs, books, direct mail and other commercial products, has merged several software tools for clients into a new business unit called QuadSystems.

QuadSystems is led by Steve Jaeger, who also serves as Quad Graphics' vice president of information systems. "As a Quad Graphics business unit, QuadSystems is backed by the capabilities of 260 corporate IT staff, including software engineers, web designers, technical writers and reference line support," Jaeger said in a press release.

The software products affected are AdSync, Impoze, PlanSystem3, and R.A.P.S. (Regional Ad Planning System), all of which are intended for use by magazine publishers and advertising managers.
