Tech Digest: Firstlogic, Fiserv, Red Prairie, Spectrum Brands, Associated Bank

Firstlogic, Inc. of La Crosse, Wis., and Siebel Systems, Inc. announced Monday that Siebel Data Quality with embedded IQ8 technology from Firstlogic will be available worldwide in early 2006 on the Siebel 7.8 platform. Firstlogic provides enterprise-wide information quality and print and mail solutions. Siebel Systems provides systems related to identifying, acquiring and retaining customers.

Progressive Bank, headquartered in Winnsboro, La., has named Fiserv's Information Technology, Inc. (ITI) subsidiary as its new banking technology provider. The $275 million commercial bank offers diversified financial services at six locations and now plans to reach new levels of integration, efficiency and growth by deploying ITI's Premier suite of integrated software. Fiserv, Inc., of Brookfield, Wis., provides information management systems and services to the financial and health benefits industries, including transaction processing, outsourcing, business process outsourcing and software and systems solutions.

CHEP has implemented RedPrairie Corp.'s global RFID-enabled DLx Warehouse in its Orlando, Fla. innovation center. CHEP, which has its Americas headquarters in Orlando, deals in pallet and container pooling services. It recently expanded the RFID capabilities of its innovation center to showcase end-to-end tracking of pallets, cases and items from receiving and put-away, to inventory management and shipping. RedPrairie, of Waukesha, Wis., provides the warehousing management solution and visibility to all supply chain participants involved in the movement of goods - including the manufacturer, transporter, distribution center and retailer for this demonstration.

Spectrum Brands (formery Rayovac Corp.), has selected InfinityQS to provide statistical process control (SPC) software and services for its plants all over the world. InfinityQS SPC products empower manufacturers to monitor, control and improve the quality of their manufacturing operations across a site, an enterprise or an entire supply chain.

Green Bay, Wis.-based Associated Bank has selected Misys Trade Innovation to provide operational and workflow management for its trade finance operations. The bank has an extensive correspondent bank network that brings international banking services to corporate customers in the upper Mid-West and across other parts of the United States. It launched an evaluation in late 2004 to find a replacement for its current system.
