announced on Friday that it has acquired the customer base and business assets of the Michigan-based Netcom Group for $1.5 million. The deal was made to give Norlights product range, including hosted IP telephony services and security solutions, added reach into the Grand Rapids and Lansing regions.
Criticare purchasing orders for cardiac system total $1.4 millionMilwaukee
The medical hardware firm Criticare Systems
announced on Thursday that it has received $1.4 million in initial purchasing orders for its cardiac monitoring system, to be released this fiscal year. Criticare recently received FDA approval to distribute the system and has a multi-year OEM development agreement in the market.
ATC first utility to apply for Green Tier programMadison, Wis.

said on Thursday that it will apply to Wisconsins Green Tier system, a program that encourages protection and development of environmental resources. If accepted, ATC, which owns transmission lines in Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan, will establish an environmental stewardship fund.
